There has been a quantum leap in how letters are processed which has resulted in an enormous amount of time being saved. It is quicker, more efficient and seamless in the way letters are processed. Further efficiencies will be made by sending letters electronically to GPs - resulting in a lot of time and money being saved for postage. You can use your mobile device to digitally capture information in the ward, clinic and theatre areas so you’re not stuck behind the desk. This means that clinicians have the flexibility on the move to respond and sign letters on the app. All of this saves time and gives us more time to spend with patients

I would say that it has transformed correspondence in Neurology. T-Pro is markedly better than the prior system, consolidation of correspondence from multiple sources into one system, letters can’t get lost and are immediately available if needed, even before transcription, convenience of PC or phone dictation allows time efficiency. I've received some patient feedback from recent appointments using eClinic Manager. With the T-Pro, we have exploited the opportunity to integrate with our PAS using a HL7 ADT feed. The clinician can select the patient from a list (their clinic work list) or by searching using the medical record number, thus improving data consistency and reducing the risk for transcription error. The solution enables both our clerical staff and the clinicians to monitor the life cycle of a letter from dictation, transcription, to final approval. This allowed clinicians to stay on top of dictation, as they can see within our branded app, Mercy Dictate, which patients they have or have not dictated a note for yet. As soon as the providers record a note and hit send, it is immediately routed to T-Pro’s team of highly skilled transcriptionists.
