Ben Jeeves founded T-Pro's clinical fellowship programmes with a clear conviction: the ambient voice technology opportunity is too significant to get wrong. Getting it right means building the right product and the right culture, with clinicians shaping both.

Ben's own route into digital health began in the NHS, where a service redesign project showed him how the right digital approach could solve complex clinical challenges, and how safety, usability and clinical insight must come together for innovation to succeed.

As Associate Chief Clinical Information Officer at Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, he led engagement, benefits realisation and governance, proving that when these disciplines align, real transformation follows.

The fellowships are designed to give more clinicians the same opportunities that have shaped Ben's own career: to work inside industry and experience what meaningful change really looks like. T-Pro fellows and NHS AI Fellowship secondees inform UI and UX design, strengthen safety guardrails and take full part in the governance that assures AI in live clinical care. Under Ben's leadership, they gain the expertise and influence to lead change across the health system, so that technology always serves care, never the other way around.

NHS Run, T-Pro Funded

NHS Fellowship in Clinical AI

This fellowship is the first systematic route in the UK to acquire the relevant skills in clinical AI deployment. T-Pro funded 2 posts in Cohort 5, and the appointees were designated T-Pro Fellows in Clinical AI. Funding arrangements for Cohort 6 are confirmed when applications open.

Research Ireland Co-Funded

Research Ireland Enterprise Fellowship

Research Ireland is a government agency that provides competitive grants to fund research. The Enterprise Fellowship funds an academic researcher to spend time working with an industry partner on research of mutual interest to both parties.

In their words

I'm a General Practitioner and Clinical AI Fellow at T-Pro, working at the intersection of medicine, technology and system design. I studied Law at UCC and Medicine at UCD, qualified as a GP through the Irish College of General Practitioners, and hold Professional Diplomas in Innovation from UCD and in Leading Digital Health Transformation from RCSI.

At T-Pro, I act as a bridge between clinical reality and product development. As a practising GP, I help shape how the platform is designed, tested and governed, so that it fits real clinical workflows and meets the standards patients deserve.

Through this fellowship, I want to grow as a leader in digital health, deepen my expertise in clinical safety, and help healthcare organisations move confidently from AI experimentation to effective implementation.

In their words

I’m an NHS Neuro-Physiotherapist at UCLH, with a particular interest in supporting behaviour change in complex and long-term conditions. I’m also a founding member of AI for AHPs and am developing an AI literacy programme for undergraduate AHP students.

At T-Pro, I bring a frontline clinical, clinical safety and allied health perspective to the development and implementation of ambient voice technology.

Through the fellowship, I want to help prepare the healthcare workforce to adopt AI safely and confidently, while building real-world evidence about where AI-enabled documentation genuinely improves clinical practice and where it may introduce new risk.

I also want to deepen my expertise in clinical safety, governance and responsible AI implementation
